The Grand Hotel Zell am See offers to the winner of the Warm-up Grand Hotel Trophy a free week-end for two (3 nights B&B) for next year’s tournament.
A special Backgammon board is offered by 869BG to the winner of the 869BG Trophy.
Various trophies are offered by the Casino Zell am See to the winners in the two categories, including Ladies Prize, Ladies Tournament, Warm-up, 869BG Trophy, The best play the best, Super-Jackpot and One Point Matches.
Special trophy is offered by the President of WBF to the winners of the European Championship 2017 (Formula 1 and F. 3) and of the European Doubles Championship.

Zell am See (750 m above sea level) is in the Land Salzburg.
You can drive or come by train. In case you fly, the airport of München is at around 180 km, Salzburg 80 km.
Air temperature in April is + 8/20° C.
The town of Zell am See is located at the base of the mountain and at the shores of the lake in close proximity to the glacier. On a peninsula, formed by the Schmittenbach stream, the town protrudes into Lake Zell and clearly states: “Here I am and you must come here if you want to enjoy your holiday in the Zell am See-Kaprun region.” (from www.zellamsee-kaprun.com)

No clocks will be used during the tournament, except in case of big delay on the tournament matches.
The draw is manual (not computerized), public and random.
The Tournament matches take precedence over all other forms of play.
Only cash payment is accepted.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse application to play and/or forbid admittance without giving any reason since the Tournament is by WBF invitation only.
Should a player wish to leave the playing area during the Tournament, he/she must inform the Tournament Director. Failure to do so may results in penalty points being given.
The daily break for dinner is between 19:30 and 21:00.
No smoking in the main playing room.
The Tournament will be played on professional Tournament Boards.
Our boards are regularly cleaned and disinfected before every tournament.
Dice Service is provided by WBF.
No admittance without proper dress.
Admission to Casino with photo ID Card only.
Only persons with legal age (18 or older) may enter the Casino.
The trophies will be presented only during the awarding ceremony.
